5. What is H14 aluminum sheet 1050? H14 vs H24

There is a difference between aluminum plain sheets 1050-H14 and 1050-H24, and the difference is significant. 1050 Aluminum plain sheet H14 is a purely work-hardened state, suitable for the state where the required strength can be obtained without annealing and only by work-hardening; 1050 aluminum plain sheet H24 is a state where work-hardening is followed by incomplete annealing. They have the same strength, but the elongation of aluminum plate H24 is higher.

The production process is different: H14 is intermediate annealed → cold rolled; H24 is cold rolled → partially annealed. The cold-rolled amount of H24 is larger than that of H14. Please refer to the standard GB/T/16475-2008.
